After a full year, I’m pleased to announce that vol. 2 of The Helivran Chronicles, “Ghost Legion”, is now draft-complete for the first time. Coming up, a rigorous haircut and end-to-end editing as I prepare to start work on vol. 3, “War in Heaven”.
And what of vol. 1 you say? “The Wolf of Urgency” is in the hands of a publisher after its very favorable Kirkus review. Should lighting strike, you’ll be the first to know. And if it doesn’t, WOU will be out by year’s end via KDP.

Good news! THE WOLF OF URGENCY has received a Kirkus Review and the word is outstanding.
Kirkus is the gold-standard for industry assessments of new books, considered the 'velvet hammer' because of their ability to damn with faint praise. Authors who submit work to them can withhold publication if it's damning, and in theory this leads to a statistical bias, since only favorable reviews tend to get publicized. But Kirkus retains its reputation for objectivity, so a positive review is a very good thing indeed.

Greed. Lies. Power. Deceit. What’s not to love?
Get an advance look at my all-new screenplay, "Trust", the epic story of J. P. Morgan wrestling with his destiny during the great financial Panic of 1907.
Based on a true story, “Trust” follows Morgan in the twilight of his life as he, his rivals, his colleagues, and his remarkable assistant Belle da Costa Greene struggle to contain an economic catastrophe set off by the maneuvers of a greedy manipulator.
Love it or hate it, in our day and age we turn to the Fed during crisis. But….
Before there was the Fed, there was only Morgan.
